This blog is really not about me. Perhaps it's partially due to my background and partly native temperament, I prefer not to talk about myself. But, if you must know...

Thanks almost entirely to this blog, I am able to live a comfortable life. I own a villa in France, a Chateau in the Swiss Alps and an island in the South Pacific that is not threatened by climate change.

I have worked for American intelligence for many years and have seen the world through an unique set of spyglasses.  I can confidently say, the world is spinning like a top. Sure, there's rising income inequality on a global scale, staggering levels of poverty and drug addiction, wars and terrorists plotting—these are mere wrinkles on fine Egyptian cloth. They can be ironed out nicely in due time.

In the meantime, this blog is for those prone to worry — as a comfort—really: to share the good news, how the world is humming to just the right tune!
